What you’ll do
Lead strategy development for a new program including market segmentation, customer insight, competitive benchmarking, forecasting and solution prioritization with the goal of identifying new opportunities for Cytiva in small scale bioprocess development
Partner with program leader and other founding members to quickly deliver growth to the business while building toward a broad long-term impact to customers and the business
Work across Cytiva and the broader Danaher organization to bring the strategy to life, communicating direction and assisting in the development of strategically aligned and rational development plans
Maintain a global view of the process development market across major bioprocessing segments, incorporating findings to improve program results
Coordinate across the organization to integrate market insight into marketing campaigns, product specifications, pricing, go to market strategies and industry engagement
Influence market trends within the industry, work within the program and across related Cytiva businesses to identify new opportunities and enhance business ventures
Apply Danaher Business Systems (DBS) continuous improvement tools across all functions to assist problem solving, alignment, speed to market, and overall efficacy

Who you are
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical specialty; MBA preferred
Depth of experience with biopharmaceutical process development and/or scale up with understanding of the market dynamics and competitive landscape
Proven ability to partner with leadership to develop complementary, innovative and realistic strategies for business growth, experience establishing new ventures desired
Skilled in market segmentation, competitive benchmarking, voice of customer, building successful revenue models and product positioning.
Accomplished communicator, able to advise and influence senior level management, executives, key clients, and partners at all levels
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including a data-driven approach to decision making, proven track record of critical thinking, business insight and execution for results
Completer/finisher mentality, creative and intellectually curious with a strong work ethic; able to accelerate delivery of solutions in a fast-growing environment
