The Service Product Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for will be responsible for driving the various elements of these programs and reporting mechanisms including, but not limited to, general business management, portfolio development, program launch, lead tracking and analysis. The Product Manager will be responsible for, and accountable to, specific portfolio and revenue growth goals. The role will be the primary liaison between the Service Organization and our Global and NACO Commercial, Service, and Marketing organizations.
The Service Product Manager will work alongside the Director of Service Business to own, build, and roll out a suite of Service Contract and Program offerings as we drive our strategy of growth in our Commercial Service Business.
The Product Manager will take direction from the Service leader but will be responsible for driving the various elements of these programs and reporting mechanisms including, but not limited to, general business management, portfolio development, program launch, lead tracking and analysis.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Primarily be responsible for positioning and pricing of our service offerings in NACO.
Own, and be accountable for, the protection and profitable growth of service revenue and the installed base within their assigned customer segment.
Work with data analytics to generate a complete suite of dashboards for understanding our Service Revenue Operations in NACO.
The role will own, build out, and support a new product offering(s) via Beckman Coulter’s North America Commercial Business including all the supporting mechanisms that must be in place to realize the true potential of this revenue stream.
Cultivate vendor/partner relationships, generate Voice of Customer, drive potential partnerships, and expand our service reach well beyond the realm of break/fix.
Own the relationship with the broad Commercial Field teams, Training, Operations and IC to ensure all the appropriate mechanisms are in place to support our readiness to go-live.
Explore and execute upon opportunities in channel and segment management to further expand our Service growth initiatives.
Deliver executive presentations on new projects for funding approval, including new business models, partnerships, financial models, and value-added services.
Attend customer meetings as appropriate, Growth War Room meetings, as well as the delivery team engagements as they implement the plans for our customers.
This role will work through the change management process and navigate/overcome objections/roadblocks as we increasingly move the Service Organization to the forefront of our business.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in field with 14+ years exp. OR Master’s degree in field with 12+ years exp.
Experience in Business Management, GM, Product Management, or Marketing.
Project Management and Project Management tools experience required.
Understanding of Business Models and Market Research (primary and secondary).
Knowledge of, and experience driving, the change management process and continuum.
Solid communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with leaders & executives at all levels.
Ability to push through and learn from failures.
A collaborative but ambitious mindset with the ability to not let perfect get in the way of better.
Effectively manage through ambiguous situations, work outside of a normal structure, and under a microscope.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Data analytics experience preferred.
DBS Practitioner or Certified Practitioner preferred.
