The Facilities Maintenance Calibration Technician 3 is responsible to support the rapid growth of a multi-building campus and providing world class service for scientists and site leadership.
This position is part of the Facilities & Production Equipment and will be located on site at SE Bothell, Washington. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Performing required calibration and maintenance on critical facilities electronic monitoring.
Troubleshooting equipment and systems, assessing new equipment installations, HVAC, and pneumatics, mechanical, DI, and waste control issues.
Be able to work overtime with little or no notice and be willing to work in a rotational on-call schedule with a response time of one-hour or less.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree (or equivalent certificate) 5 + years related commercial and/or defense department maintenance experience.
2-year technical degree or equivalent military training.
Must be able to lift to 75 lbs., Stand 50% to 100% of the day.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous biotech or manufacturing experience preferred.

The hourly range for this role is $35.00 - $40.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
