If so, apply for our Manufacturing Technology Engineer role! In this position, you'll collaborate with business partners to help innovate, implement and optimise equipment and process technologies, facilitating new product development, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
What you’ll do:
Develop new manufacturing technologies that realize value for Cytiva’s Filtration business, from initial concept through to implementation in full-scale production.
Identify opportunities for improvements and develop innovative solutions to complex manufacturing problems.
Capture data to quantify the value of solving manufacturing problems and contribute to business cases that justify investments in new manufacturing technologies.
Plan and execute projects to implement new manufacturing processes and equipment including their specification, development, and validation.
Contribute to the research and evaluation of state-of-the-art, industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience including roles of increasing responsibility and senior leadership credentials.
Practical “hands-on” experience in the development and implementation of manufacturing technologies, including associated processes and equipment.
Experience with lean and six-sigma tools, applied to problem solving and improvements in manufacturing applications.
Skilled in visual and daily management, proven via application to individual activities and leadership of cross-functional projects.
Manufacturing for biotechnology, pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry. Knowledge of GMP would be advantageous.
Knowledge of procedures associated with the management of change in a regulated environment and, specifically, validation of manufacturing methods and equipment.
