TheBenefits Administrator / Analystis part of the benefits team and assists with operational and transactional tasks to help manage US benefits across healthcare, retirement (401(k)) as well as life insurance, disability and other benefits. Responsibilities will include supporting various benefits enrollment processes and helping resolve both systematic and individual problems. The ideal candidate will also provide company benefits information to employees and facilitate onboarding for new staff.
Additional responsibilities will include extracting data from a variety of external and internal systems, summarizing in Excel or other appropriate software, and drawing conclusions. He/She will also be expected to be able to propose and execute on possible process improvements that enhance employee experience.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the daily operation of the HR Department and be responsible for diverse and substantive job responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Have good knowledge of the company’s US retirement (401(k)), healthcare, and life/disability insurance benefits. * Interface & problem solve with multiple business partners including external benefit vendors and partners, finance, payroll, HRIS & Corporate. * Be responsive and act as the first point of contact for benefits related queries. * Support all HR onboarding facilitation and training for new staff. * Facilitate onboarding for new staff including processing and data entry for all benefits vendors as required. * Work with the HR Benefits Manager to ensure plans are in compliance with company and IRS regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, finance, IT or a related field required. * Minimum of two (2) years' benefits experience in a similar or related role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Possess strong technology aptitude with excellent MS Office suite skills and HRIS systems (Workday a plus). * Must be team-focused, detail-oriented, & resourceful. * Ability to prioritize, handle several projects simultaneously and work well with minimal supervision.
