The Distribution Account Relationship Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be the primary liaison between Beckman Coulter Diagnostics and our distribution partners. You will be responsible for establishing and partnering with your assigned distributor, so they understand our non-acute care business goals and strategic vision to enable us to be the primary partner of choice with them.

As our new Distribution Account Relationship Manager, your goal will be to partner with your distributors to positively position our product portfolio and provide the necessary marketing and financial information to the distributors to ensure we are a primary vendor in the non-acute space. You will work closely with the distributor’s leadership team to negotiate contract terms and provide overall business health reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure positive outcomes within the relationship.

This position is part of the Specialty Segments team located in North America and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Distribution Leadership team and report to the National Distribution Director.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of distributor business functions, processes and plans; Guide the strategic direction of distributor business plan

• Negotiate and execute Distribution Agreements

• Develop mutually agreed upon annual sales goals with distribution partners

• Communicate and implement national sales promotions, where applicable

• Perform quarterly distribution partner Business Reviews

• Communicate important BEC information affecting distributor business

• Use salesforce.com to track sales, assist with forecasting and make important business decisions; Champion and partner with internal Distribution Managers to ensure salesforce.com compliance

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BS/BA degree (business or science preferred), MBA degree preferred

• 10+ years of experience (preferably within a commercial capacity i/e sales or marketing)

• 3+ years of experience working within distribution market (preferably within lab or medical device space, that has the razor/razor blade model)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
