The HemoCue America Hemolysis Product Manager will lead all aspects of developing, driving, and implementing clinical marketing for our current hemolysis product offering and future product development/launches. The successful candidate will own the development of related sales tools, including but not limited to clinical messaging and marketing materials, while working closely with sales teams and across the organization to gather market insights and deliver on impactful market data. Will also be responsible for crafting sales training materials and being the product training subject matter authority.
HemoCue can strengthen its position in the market by establishing clinical messaging for its solutions, especially in segments where the clinical sale is paramount, such as in hospitals and with physicians. This is an outstanding opportunity for the product manager to flex clinical knowledge into marketing activities that drive growth. You will be viewed as a clinical marketing subject matter expert within the team and will be expected to collaborate with other marketing team members as needed to help strengthen our overall clinical messaging platform.
Position will report to the Marketing Director and can be remotely located anywhere within the continental United States if a strong collaborative working relationship can be established and maintained with not only the marketing team, but with other cross-functional teams and global partners across multiple geographies and time zones.
Develops specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the driven arena. Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Works with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Ability to gather data, including VoC to interpret and identify clinical market trends and perform competitive analysis as needed
Develop and successfully execute customer nurturing and product (including launch) campaigns that drive product adoption and awareness
Work in close collaboration with HemoCue headquarters in Sweden for sales tools and messaging
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s of Art or Bachelor’s of Science
Minimum 7 years of marketing experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or similar biotech field
Previous product launch and/or Institutional Review Boards (IRB) experience
Experience with developing and managing clinical marketing materials
Technologically-savvy, including digital marketing, social media, and software programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Prior experience with marketing automation and sales enablement platforms (e.g. Marketo, Pardot, Seismic, Salesforce, etc.)
Desired Experience & Skills
Advanced degree a plus
Knowledge of the hemolysis landscape
Experience in Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) landscape
Travel (required estimated % of time)
