Description
* The Marketing Manager for Assays will be responsible and accountable for downstream marketing activities and business growth for the chemistry and immunoassay reagents and consumables business for the AU® Chemistry, Synchron® Chemistry and Access® Immunoassay product lines. * Execute marketing plans for new product launches to increase market in key customer segments (IDNs, GPOs, Government, Commercial Labs and Distribution/Channel partners). * Develop and execute programs and communication campaigns to promote and drive menu expansion and growth * Coordinate customer symposiums and user group meetings to drive customer retention. * Create sales tools and training in alignment with menu expansion and new product launch goals * Marketing liaison/lead for assay sales consultant team * Market intelligence – serve as expert on customers, customer needs and buying criteria for menu and disease states. develop strategies and action plans for * Demand generation – develop strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products * Establishes methods and metrics to track key performance indicators, including market share and market penetration

Qualification
Education: * 10 years with a BA or 8 years with Masters. Advanced degree a plus. Qualifications & Experience: * 3 years clinical laboratory experience, clinical chemistry and/or immunoassay preferred * 7 years downstream marketing experience in IVD assays and or disease state marketing * Ability to work in a large, matrixed organization. The candidate must have a working knowledge of the principal areas and role of Marketing, Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Planning, R & D, QA and Business Development. * High energy, self-starter with bias for action and sense of urgency * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to perform exceptionally well in fast paced, performance oriented environment.
