Description


The Senior Contract Analyst will create and review contract proposals for integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and global purchasing organizations (GPO) to ensure compliance within company terms and conditions and pricing guidelines for customer instrument, consumables and service contracts.
The role will be a key partner to the IDN and/or GPO Sales team
Review of proposal details to ensure compliance to business analytics, terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth.
Identification and reporting of contract issues, and will propose corrective actions to assist in minimizing the risks for the commercial organization including but not limited to e inconsistencies in contract administration.
Understands and interprets organization goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced and timelines established in a cost effective manner.
Advises sales on objection handling techniques, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures.
Maintenance of an electronic pricing and electronic contract library.
Build strong partnerships with cross functional peers and superiors to ensure overall streamlined process and champion contract policy and procedure revisions.
Ensures coordination with Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, Regulatory and IT on contract matters as relevant.
Is a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand complex sales issue
Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closures.
Maintain complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary.
Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards

Qualification


Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience required
Demonstrated ability to read and understand terms and conditions of a contract required for proper administration and compliance
This role interacts with peers, leadership, field sales and service employees on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across and outside the organization.
Ability to use experience to develop concepts and techniques that allow others to complete activities in creative and efficient ways
Must possess strong analytical skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Preferred
Finance and/or Accounting and a background with contracts or alternatively
Experience in commercial contracting (Para legal, JD or certification in commercial contracting) with an aptitude to financial analysis is desirable.
Negotiations skills
Paralegal skills
Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system
