Are you a highly motivated and talented cyber security leader who would love to join the growing security organization at Danaher Corporation? Lead technical security initiatives across 20+ globally diverse science and technology operating companies! Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery of enhancements to enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), threat detection, and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions

  • Manage and prioritize engineering demand and delivery timelines with threat intelligence, security operations, and cyber incident response leaders. Coordinate and align efforts with partner(s) delivering generic threat detection content.

  • Define, implement and maintain engineering standards, quality assurance, and technology hardening practices. Align practices across other technical teams.

  • Develop, maintain and deliver against strategic roadmaps that provide for continuous improvement and lifecycle management of threat management technologies

  • Ensure roles and responsibilities for engineering, operational performance monitoring and support are defined and communicated across internal and external stakeholders

  • Coach and mentor software engineering and system administration talent


  • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering, systems administration, and / or SIEM or SOAR tool administration experience

  • 3+ years leading engineering teams delivering technology solutions

  • Experienced in common threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and strategies for continuously enhancing threat detection and response capability

  • Experienced in enterprise technology governance and lifecycle management practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Splunk Certified Administrator certification

  • Splunk Enterprise Security Admin certification

  • Palo Alto Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE) certification

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GSEC, GCIH or GPEN

  • Prior experience working in a Security Operations Center or for a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP)

  • Familiarity working with threat intelligence products for enrichment of detection and response alerts

  • Working knowledge of various privacy, risk, security standards and practices
