The Senior Financial Manager provides analytical and decision support developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning, analysis and control, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The selected candidate will provide analytical support for major business decisions for North America Commercial Operations (NACO), a +$1B Sales P&L. Work performed will include financial analysis and modeling of top-line revenue and associated costs, expenses and bottom line results. The selected candidate will be required to review and improve modeling processes and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will be a part of the NACO Finance Team and report to the Director of Finance – NACO, responsible for leading the P&L results and support the Sales & Marketing organizations. If you thrive in an amazing and challenging role and want to work to build a world-class Finance organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a team of 1 Manager and 2 Senior Financial Analysts on budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for North America Commercial Operations.

  • Be responsible for month-end close, accrual, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Identify trends, risks, opportunity, and drivers to ensure business deliver against the financial target. Establish a monthly cadence for financial review to ensure proper actions are taking as countermeasures if needed.

  • Collaborate with functional leads and corporate colleagues to support and drive action plans to improve processes, automate/streamline functional reporting (using tools such as Oracle, EPM, OBI, PowerBI) to deliver better business insight.

  • Integrates research, information, and trends into solutions using DBS to enhance financial analytics that support the forecast. This involves review of trends/prior year results, and discussions with other cross-functional groups.

  • Perform detailed analytical review of entire NACO Commercial P&L (Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Sales Operations, Pricing and Service). Provide quantitative analysis, project management and tracking of key initiatives and metrics, including pricing and growth initiatives.

  • Take initiative and partner with various functions in the organization to resolve issues, enhance systems, business processes as well as integrating research, information, and trends into solutions using DBS tools.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preference in Finance and or Accounting/Economics with 14+ years’ work experience OR Master’s or Doctoral Degree with 12+ years’ work experience and 4+ years’ managing people

  • Previous responsibility for full P&L, analyzing revenue and gross/operating profit margin. Possess the managerial courage to highlight adverse financial results and trends and offer proposed solutions to resolve.

  • Previous experience in presenting complex financial data to upper leadership.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • ERP systems to create/generate reports. Familiarity with Oracle EBS and EPM, OBI.

  • MBA
