The Staff Business Application for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Oracle EBS System and other sub-systems in the Quote to Cash function.

This position is part of the Enterprise Applications and Analytics (EAA) and will be located in Brea, California. At EAA, our vision is to attain operational, support and analytics excellence in partnership with our stakeholders, using innovative ideas, tools and technologies.

You will be a part of the Enterprise Information System (EIS) team and report to the Senior Manager, Business Application responsible for supporting and maintaining Oracle EBS business system and other sub-systems in Quote to Cash function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct business process analysis, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

  • Works with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate application or configuration solutions.

  • Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business processes to support the requirements throughout the project lifecycle up to and through change control.

  • Reviews system test plans and system tests applications to ensure successful test cycles.

  • Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, and training materials) and training.

  • Leads large scale or complex business systems and application upgrades/ enhancement development and installations. Develops detailed implementation and upgrade project plans when required.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Requires undergraduate degree with 9+ years’ relevant experience OR Graduate degree and 7+ years’ of relevant experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in maintaining and supporting of Oracle EBS system R12.2+ and related sub-systems in the Quote to Cash function.

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst (or equivalent) experience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Techno functional experience in Finance and Order to Cash - 70% functional and 30% technical

  • Experience in Advanced Analytics, Oracle Business Intelligence and Data warehousing

  • Highly desired to have PMP certification or Equivalent

  • Experience in implementation and support of Oracle Cloud ERP systems (Finance and Q2C)
