Are you a creative thinker with strong software development skills in both presentation (GUI) and back-end (Services) to the organization? Do you want to make an impact? Daily work includes support of New Product Development (NPI) activities related to our Product Development Roadmap.
Lead the software development process, code reviews, design reviews, user story development and completion
Lead and implement unit test and automation scripts
Create and maintain software lifecycle documentation
Support the verification of software and related systems
Create and maintain instrumentation control software for the Life Sciences system domain.
Front-end GUI to back-end service layers for instrumentation control and status.
Architect software systems in collaboration with the Systems Engineering team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with at least 7+ years of related experience.
7 plus years’ experience with some or all of the following C++/C#/Java
Experience with .NET/WPF/WCF application/service development
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills through distributed layers of software.
Agile, Scrum or XP software development process experience
Results oriented both independently and in a team setting.
Track record for delivering results, taking ownership and being accountable.
Experience in analytical instrumentation development.
Experience in Life Science or Medical Device domains.
Strong business sense with customer focus.
Familiarity with Capillary Electrophoresis technology is a plus.
