The Contract and Relationship Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be the daily interface between Beckman Coulter and assigned customers, responsible for building and maintaining relationships and for effective contract management for designated customers. You will be interacting with Pathology personnel at all levels presenting complex data in a simple way, engaging with third party suppliers to optimise supply chain, building open and honest partnerships at local levels and facilitating/ driving issue resolution to manage performance.
This position is part of the Customer Operations Department Remote based living within West of England NHS network area and will be a mixture of
working on -site and at customer site.
You will be a part of the Managed Services Team within Commercial Services and report to the Managed Services Team Manager responsible for supporting Beckman Coulter and third-party suppliers, exceeding customer expectations with operational and financial performance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Undertake all aspects of contract evaluation and governance
Monitor sub-contractor contract compliance to detailed Key Performance Indicators and take appropriate actions as agreed with line management and key stakeholders.
Draft standard contract documents such as non-disclosure agreements, change control documents, Framework schedules, etc. as and when required
Provide an excellent customer experience, being knowledgeable about your job, having pride in yourself and your abilities, and giving the customer your best to create loyalty and stand out among the rest
Manage performance and financial statistics for both Beckman Coulter and sub-contractors and investigate all opportunities to control and drive down costs, whilst pursing continual improvements in performance.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Knowledge of Managed Services in a diagnostic marketplace with managed service account management experience and experience delivering and monitoring contract performance / compliance
Excellent customer service, business management techniques and negotiation skills with negotiation principles experience
Experience working in a team handling complex projects with management of multiple stakeholders with varying agendas
Outstanding planning and organisational skills with evidence of creation and execution of successful strategic plans within diagnostics or medical sector
An understanding of public procurement and supplier management in a laboratory setting.
Degree or Higher Education Qualifications or we would welcome applications with strong experience within this field
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
Must hold Full Driving License.
