Danaher Corporation Automation Engineer in Bronshoj, Denmark

At Radiometer, we are looking for an Automation Engineer.

Radiometer has been a Market leader in blood gas measurement since 1954. It is still one of the most complicated technologies that contains advanced optical system, potentiometric measurements, and electronic and mechanical challenges.

Meet your department

This role will join the Production Support team (PTA), where you will work alongside experienced colleagues in a team used to pulling in the same direction together. You will be reporting to the Senior Value Stream Manager, Manufacturing & Operations.

Your responsibilities summed up

The core responsibilities for the Automation Engineer will be centered around our 3D scanners, highly complex equipment with a combination of technically challenging hardware and software. You will ensure a good OEE in the daily production, while working on several improvement projects around this critical QC technology.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient daily operations of 3D scanners.

  • Identify and drive a pipeline of development projects.

  • Participate in cross functional activities, particularly with our development team.

  • Projects around automation and improvement of our wider production setup, tailored to your technical background and passion.

  • Installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots all mechanical, hydraulic, electric equipment and instrumentation.

  • Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of operations information systems to monitor manufacturing efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

We expect you to hold a Technical education. You may have a BSc/BEng within Industrial engineering, Automation, or software technology. We imagine that you have 1- 2 years of experience, preferably within a LEAN production environment.

Moreover, you have

  • A structured approach to working

  • A strong technical and analytical approach and attitude

  • A driven personality in both getting the job done and challenging the status quo.

  • A results-oriented approach and thrive by solving complex problems

  • An ability to write clearly and accurately in a technical language.

This job requires an ability to communicate well in Danish and English, both in writing and orally.
