Danaher Corporation Experienced PMO - 12 month interim position in Bronshoj, Denmark

As our PMO you will work cross functionally on a global scale. This will provide you with a broad insight to the organization.

In this position, you play a vital role in the Global Marketing organization of Radiometer. This role will be responsible for Marketing PMO activities such as project portfolio management including facilitation of project intake, tracking, reporting, creation of the global marketing plan as well as monthly reviews with the Marketing Management team.

Meet your department/organization

The PMO reports directly to the VP of Global Marketing and is part of the Global Marketing management team with 7 colleagues. Furthermore, you will have close interactions with our Product Management teams, our Marketing Communications, and our sales subsidiaries.

Your responsibilities summed up

To be successful, the PMO will work closely across teams (e.g. product management, marketing communications, business development, customer experience, etc.) within the Global Marketing function. Moreover, the PMO has cross-functional interaction, collaboration, and communication within headquarters primarily with VP team, sales, R&D, clinical and scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, business development – and with key subsidiaries (general managers, marketing managers and product managers).

The PMO is exposed to customers and external specialists in the product application area. Moreover, the responsibilities include

  • Own the project portfolio management in Global Marketing

  • Lead monthly project review meetings

  • Drive continuous improvement in projects and processes

  • Drive the annual planning cycle and facilitate recurrent global marketing meetings

  • Governance and evolvement of the commercial intake funnel

  • Contribute to the development, deployment, and execution of the Global Marketing strategy

  • Contribute to the advancement of the DBS culture in Global Marketing

Furthermore, you will also work with other PMOs, DBS agents as well as DBS leaders, as this position includes being a Danaher Business System (DBS) agent supporting Marketing in improving the DBS culture and skills to drive continuous improvement in projects and processes.

Preferred qualifications

We expect you to hold a bachelor or master’s degree and has prior validated proficiencies within the PMO role.

  • Possess the ability to achieve results with global functions and in matrix organization through effective communication with all stakeholders

  • Have a consistent record in building professional relationships, creating followership, being a persuasive communicator

  • Possess analytical ability to translate business performance KPIs into actual risks and opportunities

  • Are a global thinker and knows and understands different cultures and market needs

  • Are a good listener to internal and external customers and specialists

  • Have the courage and ability to take (tough) decisions quickly to work towards tangible and measurable results

  • Are proactive and possess strong leadership character, taking ownership and accountability “end-to-end” and works efficiently with all levels of organization

  • Naturally attends to details, «hands-on» and has resourcefulness and resiliency

  • Have strong skills within MS Office / MS 365 applications including SharePoint. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, CRM, and documents control systems

Ideally you hold a deep understanding of the diagnostics industry and a prior experience within the regulated industry e.g. financial, IT security, pharma, medical device or other.

This position requires proficient English both written and verbally. An additional major language would be a plus.

You should expect some travel activities at approximately 10-15% per year.

In this position it will be possible to work from remote.
