Danaher Corporation Global Marketing Manager (People Management), Blood Gas in Bronshoj, Denmark

Do you want to lead a Commercial Product Marketing team in a successful Medical Device company? This is your chance to lead the commercial product marketing team for Blood Gas; responsible for the continued commercialization of Radiometers Blood Gas portfolio. The portfolio includes Blood Gas instruments and Blood Gas syringes, which constitutes a very large part of Radiometer's business.

Activities include planning and execution of marketing initiatives to support Radiometers growth efforts, market, pricing and competitor analyses as well as life-cycle management of the portfolio. Portfolio life-cycle management includes continuous growing, commercializing and optimizing Blood Gas portfolio as well as launching new products in cooperation with the New Product Management team, the IT Solutions team,, Clinical and Medical Affairs and Radiometer subsidiaries.

The CPM team consists of three energetic and experienced Product Managers that cooperate closely in the team and across functions in Radiometer to deliver effective marketing results. You will play a vital role in driving all the commercial initiatives through the team but also take an active role as player-coach in key projects.

We expect our new Global Marketing Manager to take pride in delivering on own tasks and through a motivated and engaged team as well as securing a focus on delivering strong commercial results while winning with the team – both own team as well as partners in global and local entities.

Responsibilities summed up

  • Lead the team and contribute to achieving strong commercial results

  • Plan and execute successful product launches

  • Build effective value propositions and messaging for product portfolio and Radiometer solutions including doing Voice of Customer analyses to get deep customer insights

  • Lead the activities to plan, execute and monitor results of global campaigns

  • Lead continuous business analyses- & follow-up efforts on existing products

  • Lead pricing analyses for new products and ASP analysis for existing products

  • Lead strategic LCM efforts for the continuous commercialization and improvement of the product portfolio including clear performance targets for launch and subsequent revenue achievement

  • Strategic application of market and competitor insights

  • Secure availability of products in the market by collaborating with colleagues in Supply Chain and other functions outside marketing

  • Participate in preparing and executing Radiometer's strategic objectives

Qualifications

We expect you to have an MA degree in Marketing or International business / MBA or MA in Science with strong marketing and business experience. This combined with most of the following increases your chances of success:

  • Demonstrated ability related to Global Product Management (+6 years) combined with leadership experience (min. 2-3 years) in a global and commercial role

  • Ideally experience with marketing and life science products

  • Proven experience with strategic Life Cycle Management to accelerate growth and margins from an optimized portfolio and with price positioning of new and existing products

  • Good listener to internal and external customers and specialists

  • Analytical ability to translate business performance critical metrics into the actual risks and opportunities

  • Ability to communicate effectively both data-base analysis and conceptual proposals

  • Solid commercial experience in medical industry or other regulated industry

  • Taking ownership of projects and full accountability for results

Under normal circumstances the job would take you travelling 20 to 25 days per year.
