Combine technical and commercial skills

Get ready to build the bridge between Customers, Sales, our Clinical & Medical Affairs team and the engineers in the R&D team. Visits at hospitals and collecting data, as well as a close collaboration with R&D are key to shape the future of our products. Financial, commercial and quality considerations will also need to be taken into consideration when suggesting future improvement areas for our product portfolio.

Meet your new team

You report to the Marketing Manager for New Products within Blood Gas, Francois Dupont. The team is responsible for long-term innovation and for bringing clinically relevant new products to market. Colleagues in the Commercial Marketing team takes over when it comes to the commercial aspects - for instance the global product launch.

Your responsibilities summed up

  • Act as Marketing representative during new product development phases

  • Provide meaningful market and customer input for the R&D projects through VOC and calculations to identify Customer needs and the market potential

  • Perform market, competition and customer surveillance

  • Collaborate with other product management teams to develop cross-products solution

  • Discover new clinical applications for the existing products

The job takes you travelling 10-15 % of your time as you visit customers worldwide and our sale subsidiaries and distributors to understand the market needs.


We believe that a Masters degree related to medtech and/or science with experience in Product Management and developing scientific products increases your chances of success. Furthermore, a background as nurse, midwife or similar would be a plus.

The following competencies strengthen your position to qualify for the job

  • Ability to conduct and translate Voice of Customers/Market Surveillance into product/solution requirements

  • Analytical expertise to translate quantitative data into strategic decisions

  • Understanding of diagnostics and clinical language from an industry and customer perspective

  • Being able to work in a technical environment, especially with R&D

  • Project ownership and project management skills

  • Experience with developing products in Life Science
