Danaher Corporation Obsolescence & Supplier Risk Manager in Bronshoj, Denmark

Job Overview:

The Obsolescence and Supplier Risk Manager will be responsible for driving and developing the Obsolescence and Supplier Risk Management processes and strategies at Radiometer.

Responsibilities:

  • Set development objectives to be achieved through the Obsolescence and Supplier Risk Management processes and monitor achievements

  • Manage effectively the Obsolescence process to secure replacement of obsolete parts as they age, before it becomes a crisis with a negative impact on the business

  • Planning, monitoring, forecasting and understanding the risks

  • Perform Obsolescence Risk Assessments to determine the most vulnerable areas

  • Effectively manage the Supplier Risk Management process to secure on time supply of critical products to our manufacturing sites

  • Planning around and mitigating the impact of End of Life (EOL) and Last Time Buy (LTB) situations to avoid being forced into re-engineering or upgrading

  • Secure full transparency on status

  • Ensure the agreed service levels with internal stakeholders are adhered to

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc (Master preferred) in production engineering, or similar technical education background

  • Preferred additional education in project management

  • Min 5 years of hands on experience with program management, obsolescence and product life cycle management

  • Experience within the medical device or other regulated industry is a big advantage

  • Proficient in PC applications such as Excel; experience with an ERP system is an advantage

  • Fluent English in written and spoken; Danish is a plus

  • Proven track record of high level effective stakeholder management

  • Good business acumen, business writing and ability to use networks to influence business activities and convince others

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and networking capabilities

  • Strong technical understanding

  • Ability to drive results and obtain information from a team
