Danaher Corporation R&D Software Engineer in Bronshoj, Denmark

Join the Team

In this job, you take the seat among a distributed team between Denmark and India with 20+ colleagues.

The team focuses on blood gas devices, which is Radiometer’s core business, and the team is responsible for the software of Radiometer’s next-generation blood gas analyzers.

The software runs on a Windows Embedded operating system, and is written in C#, mainly using WPF technology. The devices have real-time embedded systems that perform the blood measurements, written in C/C++.The team is very diverse with a great degree of smooth collaboration.

Radiometer’s devices are medical devices. This means that you will collaborate with specialists in many fields. E.g. Clinical specialists, specialists in metrology, electronics, hardware etc.

Collaborating with our Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance department is equally important as we operate in a business area where compliance is of the essence.

Responsibilities:

  • Support troubleshooting and bug fixes on blood gas analyzers onsite (Copenhagen office)

  • Software design and development using .Net Framework, C# and WPF (plus)

  • Object-Oriented Design and agile methods

  • Collaborating with colleagues within Radiometer (cross-site)

  • Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis

  • Ensure full compliance with relevant work practices, as required by authorities for medical device product development and Radiometer's quality system

  • Expected Travel:1-2 weeks / year

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software, Electronics, Engineering, IT, or similar

  • 2-5 years of programming experience using .Net framework, C#, and WPF

  • Good problem solving and debugging skills

  • Knowledge of .NET Core and C++ is an added advantage

  • Design skills and knowledge on architectural patterns

  • Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments

  • Strong collaboration skills and will to collaborate with different engineering groups

  • A structured and practical approach to handle complex challenges

  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
