The Senior Manager (maternity cover for 10 months) for Radiometer is responsible for Enzyme Sensors and Liquid Chemistry department, ensuring the technical development, quality, and supporting delivery of enzyme sensors and liquids used in the Radiometer’s product portfolio. This position is part of the Acute Care Diagnostics R&D Organization located in Brønshoj and will be hybrid. You will be a part of the Enzyme, Polymers, and Liquids competence center and report to the Director responsible for the development, quality, and support our production in the delivery of enzyme sensors and liquid formulations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a growing team of nine skilled engineers and specialists, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes driving results, competence building, and continuous improvement

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members, ensuring individual motivation and engagement as well as growth and career progression

  • Follow up on individual and team targets, ensuring they have the skills, competencies and tools to achieve the set goals

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and create a positive work environment

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, supporting resource allocation, and task prioritization in collaboration with different functional areas and in alignment with company objectives

  • Help develop the strategic direction of the competence center across the Radiometer organization as well as identify the relevant actions for your area

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Academic degree within Medical Device, Pharma, Engineering, Chemistry or related fields

  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams, preferably in the medical technology or healthcare industry

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at different levels across functional areas

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage priorities, resources and budget effectively, adapting to the changing business needs

  • Passion for developing talents and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Technical know-how in one of the following areas: enzyme sensor development, liquid chemistry development, electrochemistry

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home.
