Pall are currently look for a EHS Specialist to join our EHAS/Facilities team on a 12 month fixed term contract to Support our EHS&QA Manager in daily activities.
This role will be based at our Pall site in Buccinasco, Milano, Italy.
Management of work permits for Italian and foreign technicians in partnership with customers
Updating of risk assessment with support of external safety consultant
Pall Personnel EHS Induction, mandatory training planning
Periodical medical visit and health examinations in collaboration with Company Doctor
Personal Protective equipment distribution & maintenance
Near miss and incidents recording, root cause analysis and corrective actions identification
Drawing up the risk assessment and requesting safety documents for external contractors carrying out activities at our site
Supervision of activities of external contractors on site.
Annual WEEE declaration, annual data extraction through manual search on Qlik View for codes already known as EEE."
Monitoring deadlines for mandatory maintenance activities and planning of maintenance work (e.g. maintenance of fire-fighting equipment, lifts, Air Treatment Unit, compressed air systems, photovoltaic systems, gantry cranes, forklifts, laboratory hoods, pressure equipment).
Covid-19 management: poster update, protocol update, assistance to colleagues for travel and booking of tests.
Customer portal management for work permits, supplier qualification and updating documents when necessary.
Supporting sales force in participating in bids.
Requests for declarations in lieu of anti-mafia declarations, certificates of criminal records, declarations of pending charges for the Board of Directors, Statutory Auditors, Special Prosecutors, Technical Director.
Requests for updating of Visura Camerale, CCIAA by external supplier.
NDA Coordinators - Confidentiality Agreements
Requests for ISO certificates, standard declarations already existing on pall.com.
Requests for approval of product specifications drafted by customers.
Product information requests.
Fill-in of quality and non-quality questionnaires from customers.
Eco Inventory data recording.
Quality System documentation update in cooperation with external consultant.
EHS Playbook - planning of identified activities
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification Diploma or degree (environmental Degree)
Strong English communication skills as well as Italian
Previous work experience in a similar EHS role (at least 2 years of experience)
Multitasking and problem solving attitude
Confident and persuasive.
Strong capacity to work in team
Clear sense of urgency and business impact
