We are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to help us in ensuring execution on all aspects of order processing and management including customer and sales support, providing leadership and driving continuous improvements to yield a top-notch customer experience. This person will provide support for business operations in the United States and Canada with accurate, timely and quality order entry while striving for increased automation through electronic order processes to support continued LBS growth.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Collaborates with business management and support teams with strong execution, delivery of customer value, and positive business results. Ensure order fulfillment based on customer requirements and revenue recognition goals are achieved.
Establishes and measures daily management goals, metrics and performance objectives to drive team focus on improving quality, process, delivery, inventory and overall customer experience.
Responsible for hiring, training, developing and motivating a robust team. Provides coaching through constructive and timely performance feedback.
Reviews and approves credits, pricing discrepancies, purchase orders, customer and vendor master data tickets.
Serves as the point of escalation with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
Establishes standard work to drive sustainable processes while balancing need for flexibility to meet customer needs.
Handles backlog, goods in transit, reverse logistics, return good authorizations and collaborate with commercial development leaders on inventory prioritization/allocation.
Executes and processes customer purchase orders and tracking of goods to customer site to complete invoicing. Works with business units, logistics, carriers and service coordination teams to ensure product delivery.
Adheres to all regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures. Authorizes retention of data and preparation of documents for use during governmental or customer inquiries.
Pragmatically challenges the status quo and drives for improvement including reduction of manual order entry processes and improving automation through e-channel and e-commerce pathways.
Effectively utilizes Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools for continuous improvement
Presents customer service initiatives and updates on organizational team call
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matters most for this role:
Education: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years previous people management experience
5+ years customer facing experience with progressive responsibilities
Experience in Medical service, call center, distribution environments.
Prior experience with SAP or other ERP environment
Knowledge of customer support processes (i.e., pricing, returns, delivery, etc.)
Ability to analyze data to gain understanding of trends, issues and offer actions/solutions
Demonstrated aptitude for change management and continuous improvement
Proficient Computer Skills: Microsoft Office365 (including powerpoint) with advanced Excel skills
DBS experience and/or process improvement experience.
