Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of our Core Histology marketing campaigns, promotions, and events which align with company and business objectives. Reporting to the Marketing Director Life Science, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for building marketing campaigns content and executing the go-to-market strategy of Leica Biosystems’s products being sold into the Life Science Segment.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing campaigns content, and ensure that content is reviewed and taken through proper Regulatory and Legal approvals
  • Develop and deploy customer success stories & content, across multiple channels, especially measurable digital channels.
  • Drive lead generation tactics with various stakeholders in Business Units, Global Marketing, Commercial Operation or relevant departments
  • Track advertising and marketing campaign results and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Conduct routine analyses of competitor marketing programs.
  • Assist with pay-per-click (PPC) advertising to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and e-commerce revenue.
  • Support Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities
  • Research and compile data and prepare information for presentations as requested (E.g., Marketing trend, competitor strategies)

Qualification

  • BS in Life Science or BA in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Life Science commercial marketing. Work experience in Pharma, Biopharma, Biotech or Contract Research Organization a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels
  • Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including managing to a campaign timeline.
  • Experience in supporting events/conferences
  • Excellent writing skills, with journalism or publishing experience a very strong plus
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven, work environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, work, and communicate effectively with peers.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and especially Excel)
