Description
Customer service is responsible for providing information to customers in response to inquiries regarding Leica’s products and services. The team supports external customer accounts, dealers and Leica’s direct sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * ResponsibilityMeasure of performance * Order entry * Measure number of orders entered and quality of orders entered per customer service rep; identifies risks to Leica following Terms & Conditions review process prior to order entry. * Phone support; call center * Daily management: Productivity measurement. Number of calls taken, the service levels achieved and the number of calls abandoned * Review the status of open orders and RGAs. * Backlog Report * Expedite orders as needed to assist in Leica meeting the Customer Requested date (CRD) * Daily Management: On time delivery metric * Order Tracker and communication with Business units globally * E-Commerce Support * Provide first level troubleshooting and support for e-commerce solutions (Leica Direct, EDI and PO Management Systems.) * Customer support for Leica’s customers, dealers and sales teamFeedback & observations from leaders, peers and customers * Data analysis/Project work-As identified by the Customer Service Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager using various Continuous improvement tools and data analytics.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and takes initiative. * TrainingSupports new team members to quickly become independent in daily work. Contributes to standard work documents.

Qualification

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 - 6 year's of Customer Service experience
  • High school diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFATIONS:

•Call Center and IT experience preferred •Competence in operating systems (ex. SAP), applications and Microsoft Office •Associate Degree preferred
