The Project Manager for Cytiva will work with R&D and Product Management to report on project execution and drive product development best practices. The PM will work on reagents and chemistry product development projects.

This position is part of the Nucleic Acids and Nanomedicine (NAN) Business Unit and the candidate will be based at our Vancouver, Canada office. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Be the project lead for a major chemistry product development cycle

  • Drive Project on-time and revenue achievement accountability and improvement

  • Mentor, train, and align R&D project managers/leads as required

  • Facilitate customer and product requirements development

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and preference for 8+ years' experience in product development, chemistry/chemical engineering, and/or life sciences R&D.

  • Experience developing regulated products or products for the drug manufacturing market is an asset.

  • Experience in technology project leadership; Visual Project Management Certified Practitioner preferred.

  • Solid understanding, discipline, and judgement around product development stage-gate processes.

  • Strong ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional and cross-organizational teams without the authority of direct reporting.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • ISO13485 and GMP environments and/or quality management systems

  • Working with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing.

  • Experience with customer and product requirements development (Voice of Customer and translation of requirements).

  • People leadership/management responsibilities

    The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
