Manager Global IT SFDC & Web Applications (m/f/d)
This very exciting position located in Cambridge, UK reports to the Global IT Director.
The role of the Manager Global IT Salesforce & Web Applications, is to work with stakeholders, to define system requirements for our corporate applications developed in various web technologies, with a particular focus on, but not limited to, global tools supporting sales and e-commerce (e.g. SFDC, JAVA..). You must be customer focused and deliver to agreed business requirements by using your experience and industry best practices to improve product and services. The Security and Compliance guidelines of these technologies should be integrated during the SDLC of the projects.
Drive accountability and an attitude of customer service into the entire organization
Implement DBS tools (Continuous Improvement) to ensure that good practices are followed and bring transparency of the work delivery
Partner with other IT Leaders to guarantee that your team is ready to support the organization
Design, Implement and maintain an escalation process
Salesforce (SFDC) projects portfolio by leading technical teams on projects
Managing the process of implementing improvements and new functionalities in SFDC
Responsible for the effective managing of 3rd party and delivering according to the SLA
Advising on architectural and technical development best practices during projects
Documenting best practices and operational procedures
Ensure business processes are clearly defined, designed and documented
Experience in Global environments and cross cultural organisations
Long standing experience in a commercial environment
Multiple years of Salesforce development experience (Apex; Lightning; VisualForce);
Salesforce Advanced certification would be an advantage
Strong technical experience as an architect on the Salesforce Platform and modules required including Marketing, Service, Sales and Field Service Lightning
A good understanding/experience of integrating Salesforce with other applications using multiple integration patterns such as SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware etc.
Occasional international travel will be required
Strong focus in process, continuous improvement and customer experience
Proactive and ability to adapt in a context in which priorities often change
Ability to initiate direct interaction, coordination and collaboration with team members, customers and clients
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related field; Masters degree would be an advantage
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
German desirable but not essential
