Danaher Corporation Project Manager in Cambridge, United Kingdom

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive execution of both our R&D and business led projects. These projects span from frontend research & NPI through to Product Care and Manufacturing optimisation of our next-generation Cell & Gene Therapy equipment. You will be working within a tightknit multidisciplinary team, joining us as we ramp manufacture across our existing and new product lines. What you’ll do

  • Directs phases of a program or portfolio from inception to development, design transfer, market launch and post market launch activities

  • Drive product care activities on marketed products to sustain an important market growth, including design, process or labelling aspects resulting from compliance, quality, supply chain or customer needs

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle, including cost, schedule and technical performance, of assigned program/portfolio(s)

  • Draws upon technical knowledge in the fields of science or engineering, and a diverse amount of expertise in managing projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, marketing, integration and test

  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specificationsEnsure compliance with ISO13485 or ISO9001 standards and other QMS requirements.

Who you are

  • 5+ years experience in leading or managing projects or program throughout the product lifecycle including product development or post market activities, working in a development or manufacturing environment, ideally developing and manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Products

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related Engineering/Science discipline

  • Experience with managing cross-functional teams, design transfer, supplier transfer or in-sourcing activities and external partners and CMOs

  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies & proven ability to run complex product development projects

  • Confidently establishes rapport with all employee levels and disciplines and adapts easily to diverse and demanding situations.Excellent time/financial/resource management skills and a proven ability to focus on detail, plan, prioritize, meet deadlines and deliver quality work.

  • Knowledge of working under relevant regulations (ISO 9001, ISO13485, cGMP)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel between Cytiva and supplier sites

  • Fluent in English
