What you’ll do

  • Senior Verification Engineering

  • Verification authority of new and portfolio products

  • Assist in creating User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS) then plan and oversee Verification testing to satisfy the URS/TRS

  • Be responsible for the Product Performance against the URS/TRS, supporting Manufacturing and Field Engineering creating FAT tests and helping specify IQOQs.

  • Work with Manufacturing and Quality to help resolve Non-Compliances and improve product yield and reliability

    Who you are

  • Class 2:1 degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM subject

  • Have substantial engineering experience (8+ years) and verification experience (4+ years), ideally in the fields of scientific/laboratory equipment, medical devices or other regulated industries.

  • In-depth understanding of Design Transfer, URS, TRS, V+V etc for 9001 and/or 13485 QMS

  • Experienced with SAP, Oracle or similar and Quality Management systems

  • Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

  • Experienced creating and maintaining products and supporting documents within a PLM system

  • Some experience with SolidWorks (or equivalent), for reviewing assemblies and ideally modelling parts/assemblies, drawings, BoMs etc

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to work from engineering first principles

  • Enthusiasm for engineering with hands-on experience

  • Team player, strong collaborative ethos and willingness to learn about new products and markets
