The Customer Service Specialist will engage with customers through phone or email to identify their needs, take appropriate actions, or escalate issues when necessary. Responsibilities include providing quotes, processing sales orders, documenting complaints, and addressing service issues related to shipments, billing, warranty, and product inquiries.

This position reports to the Customer Service Manager and is part of the CMO (Customer Mission Operations) located in Cambridge, Discovery Drive and will benefit from a flexible working arrangement. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Engage with customers across various channels, including phone, email, and live chat, to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Handle all critical situations, including complaints and escalated cases, with professionalism and efficiency.

• Manage each customer case from initiation to resolution, ensuring the customer is kept informed throughout their entire experience.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Proficient in both Spanish and English

• Experienced in customer service and/or client-facing roles

• Highly skilled in information technology

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems

• Experience in conducting in-house training
