Linx Printing Technologies, is seeking an Area Sales Manager – Oxford/West Midlands

The successful candidate will be a process driven, organized sales professional. Experience in following a structured sales process is of up most importance as well as the ability to self-critic and improve over time.
You will be able to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and have the sales skills to ask nurturing questions of potential new clients to drive increase the Linx presence in the UK coding Market.
As Area Sales Manager at Linx, your duties will be as follows:
To establish and develop an existing area business in line with set goals and objectives relating to margin and revenue performance
Ensure sales budget delivery through our channel partner within the defined territory
Effective channel management to ensure that the channel keeps growing with the available market, through the deployment of regular face-to-face meetings and growth tools
To develop the area by identifying new business leads and opportunities, by cold calling on prospective targeted customers and building relationships within existing customers
To proactively drive the territory business forward by developing an area business plan, in-line with the business strategy and sector focus.
Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:
A professional attitude towards the sales process
Follows a consistent sales process, currently or in previous roles.
A proven track record of consistent Habits – (e.g. Tele prospecting regularly, account reviews with existing clients.)
Commitment to continuous improvement – AKA ongoing self-funded training.
The ability to self-critic and improve as a result.
Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:
Minimum 5 Years Sales Experience
Experience and exposure to the UK food and drink manufacturing market

The successful candidate will ideally be located within the territory and will need to have access to a home office. This is a field based role and requires someone who is comfortable spending the maximum amount of time in front of customers. They will be required to visit the St Ives office intermittently for meetings and training.
