Senior Electronics Technician

7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday with occasional rotating Saturdays
The Senior Electronics Technician will perform a variety of assignments within a manufacturing environment.
Maintain, repair and optimize electronic/ electromechanical controls of complex manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot complex issues using meters, oscilloscopes, computers, etc. including interfacing with electronic control devices and various brands of PLC’s. Performs the set-up, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Respond to requests made by Facilities Manager and/or lead for any maintenance related activity, not necessarily just electronic issues. Read, understand and follow all applicable procedures. Document all work activities in the computerized maintenance management system ensuring all documentation and data is complete, accurate and current. Assist with the electrical/ electronic troubleshooting needs of our Facilities Department. Participate in cross-functional DBS, Kaizen events (process improvement).
3 years experience in electronics/electromechanical troubleshooting
Associates degree, and/or applicable experience or certifications.
Previous experience in PLC’s
Basic computer skills/experience
Previous work experience in a highly regulated environment
CMMS experience preferred
