We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our diverse team. This position actively participates in product development team activities to ensure the manufacturing processes conform to applicable standards. The incumbent will serve as a technical resource to product development, manufacturing and suppliers to improve process capability , reliability and the quality of products. The position will create quality and process improvement plans and determine root cause analysis .

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Continuously improve and develop Quality System processes

  • Responsible for quality data analysis , trending, root cause investigation and driving to implementation of countermeasures.

  • Implement and maintain SPC tools to understand process capability

  • Responsible for presenting quality data analysis to support daily management and management reporting.

  • Drive quality related improvement projects through multi-functional collaboration .

  • Perform process and internal audits to ensure that implemented process improvements and systems are successful and compliant.

  • Leads value stream specific quality tasks, such as change control, validation, training, non-conformance and CAPA closure.

  • Work with manufacturing associates, R&D, Engineering, other partners on projects relating to quality and reliability

  • Work with Radiometer Medical to develop and implement global procedures.

  • Apply Danaher Business System (DBS) concepts and tools in the performance of daily activities.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Field required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in regulated industry required

  • Experience in QSR , ISO 13485 , ISO 14971 and IVD preferred

  • Practical knowledge of risk management processes , statistical data analysis , and change control

  • Minitab statistical software knowledge, preferred.

  • MasterControl electronic document management system, preferred.


  • Up to 10% may be required including international travel

Location: Onsite in Carlsbad, CA.
