We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Consultant based in Lombardia.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and leading a specific assigned territory. You will implement a sales strategy that will allow you to meet and exceed sales, gross profit and unit goals, whilst also providing service and technical support to customers on a regular and ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the relationship with our acquired customers as well as acquisition of new potential ones

  • Advice and preparation of quotations for our chromatography products and services

  • Supporting our customers with application questions and issues related to chromatography

  • Active support of product launches

  • Planning and implementation of training seminars, as well as participation in trade fairs and symposia

  • Analysis & reports on sales and market developments in your own sales territory.

Key requirements:

  • Life Science educational background, ideally in the field of chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology.

  • At least 1 year sales experience from the pharmaceutical industry. CTA/PTA with laboratory experience in GC/HPLC or others with comparable qualifications are welcome to apply. Chromatography knowledge is an advantage.

  • Good level of English is required

  • Willing to travel around 3 days a week. Driving licence is required.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

  • Very good communication and presentation skills

  • Motivation and desire to be successful with a “can do” approach

  • Analytical and structured way of working

  • Consistently maintaining a positive attitude, being a team player, striving to learn and contributing to company culture.
