Danaher Corporation Technical Specialist Automation Track in Cassina De' Pecchi, Italy
Purpose of this role is to provide technical support, mainly on site and over the phone, to Field Service Engineers, Customers Support and to the dedicated staff by carrying out: diagnosis, troubleshooting, complex repairs of Automation systems. The Technical Specialist Automation Track responds when the first level support is not enough to isolate and solve equipment malfunctions problems and provide a high-quality level support. He/ She is responsible for training the technical assistance for the dedicated line, for the IT configuration of the line of expertise and the IT training of fields colleagues.
Guarantee specialist technical support to the customer on the field and over the phone
Guarantee the preparation and implementation of trainings plans for the filed colleagues, regarding the technical and IT part
Manage the flow of technical information from / to the Corporate and the EMEAI Automation Team
Manage the “Escalation” process
Recommend countermeasures to solve problems using DBS tools and other related tools
Guarantee a constant growth of the Field Service Engineers’ technical Know-How
Help the Technical Support Supervisor implement of the reporting system
If necessary, provide the required technical information
University degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
Proven IT Skills: Microsoft client/server operating systems, knowledge of the main active and passive components for computer network, Linux operating system, virtual environments (VMware)
At least 2 years of experience in the product line
Ability to explain technical concepts and support continuous learning
Very good listening and communication skills
Problem Solving and aptitude to proactively identify solutions
Strong leaderships skills
Fluent English, in written and spoken
