Danaher Corporation Application Development Manager - Drinking Water in Charlotte, North Carolina
Our ADM's are a critical bridge between the business, sales and the customer. We're looking for a highly technical skillset in the drinking water vertical with the added skillset of building followership and driving sales processes. You'll help connect our customers to the best solutions to their toughest problems while providing your technical expertise to our internal teams!
This is a remote role and candidates can be based anywhere in the Eastern Time Zone, USA, near a major airport. Locations listed are not all inclusive.
The ADM enables critical initiatives across key product lines, target applications and accounts, which in this case will be drinking water. It acts as the sales link to product development marketing and providing customer and industry insight related to product/application needs and market trends. This role provides detailed technical consulting that address the most critical business and operational needs for Hach’s key customers within the Drinking Water vertical.
Recognized as an industry specialist in their assigned process and vertical market (drinking water)
Cooperates with front line sales to educate key customers
Works closely with customers to solve problems delivering efficiencies, optimization and cost saving that target customers primary business/operational needs
Provides key market insight to internal sales and marketing groups to facilitate development of strategic business and marketing plans. Also provides voice-of-customer and application insight to product planning and development teams
Leads field evaluations for complex application evaluations
Works closely together with defined key accounts and engineering firms to support growth
Collects and develops information to support and develop sales tools (value sell documents, application notes, quick reference sale notes, competitive analysis, etc.)
Provides presentation leadership at Hach sponsored seminars, and National industry sponsored seminars and conferences.
Builds internal relationships across all departments to promote ADM capabilities and enable growth
BA, BS or MS degree required. A degree in a science related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
5 years successful sales experience preferable within designated assigned market place.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers. Requires consistent track record to speak before large groups.
Ability to travel up to 30%
