POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting a wide range of Quality Assurance activities intended to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system. Activities include the collection of quality systems data across the site, assembly of data into readable and actionable formats, and some level of determination of next steps based on what the data indicates. Position is also responsible for providing definition and guidance on a site-specific metrics program, designed to ensure continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Design and Development of a site-wide metrics program. * Collection of Quality Systems data, at prescribed intervals, from across the site. * Develops procedures/work instructions that can be submitted as part of the site’s document control system, where data evaluation methods are not clearly defined * Actively participates in weekly complaint review meetings and the monthly Level 2 PD * Performs detailed analyses and provides recommendations for continuous improvement activities, based on the data collected. * Completes the assembly of the site Quality Management Review, as well as other metric presentations on behalf of the Charlotte site. * Performs other duties and assignments at the direction of Quality Systems Manager
Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree required * 3 years of experience in a Medical Device Quality Assurance setting * Demonstrated ability using Microsoft office suite including Excel, Work, Power Point Preferred Qualifications * Experience with FDA regulations and/or ISO standards * Demonstrated ability to think critically to accurately analyze collected data * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of site Management * Experience in conducting in-depth investigations to determine and explain trends, while driving to root cause to develop thorough CAPA entries * Attention to detail when reviewing data and creating documentation
