The Advanced Technician Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the daily production needs of a Hardware manufacturing work cell which include scheduling on the production floor through use of a visual scheduling board, training direct labor associates, filling in gaps in direct labor on the manufacturing floor, troubleshooting of manufacturing issues, and managing/measuring the work of direct labor associates.

This position is part of Hardware Manufacturing located in Chaska, MN and will be located onsite. In Hardware Manufacturing, our work delivers instruments to customers in hospitals and laboratory environments, supporting patient health.

You will be a part of the Hardware Manufacturing Team and report to the Supervisor of Production Operations who is responsible for operating using Daily Management principles, providing immediate guidance and feedback to our associates, and focusing on daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives . In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards.

  • Train to Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs ) .  Follow engineering drawings, work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while m aintain ing FDA requirement s

  • Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements

  • Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality

  • Maintain o rganization and training plan for the work area

  • Train new team members on equipment operations and work procedures as needed

  • Identify and recommend quality improvements including but not limited to production methods, equipment performance, product quality and efficiencies

The essential requirements of the job include

  • High school degree (or equivalent degree)

  • 7+ years’ experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g., FDA, ISO).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and the basic Windows operating system
