The Software Engineer II is part of our research and development team and will be working on our next generation of clinical chemistry and immunoassay systems. We work in collaborative cross-functional teams with engineers from multiple disciplines to bring innovative solutions to our customers. You can expect to collaborate and coordinate with diverse development teams across the globe. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with scientists and marketing teams to ensure we have the right solutions to meet the needs of an ever-changing healthcare environment.
This position is based in Chaska, MN. We are pleased to offer a hybrid work environment that consists of remote work and onsite as needed by the business.

Develop software using technologies such as C# and .NET
Create and troubleshoot coded automated test protocols
Collaborate on requirements and design options with stakeholders
Collaborate in the troubleshooting and determination of root cause of failures
Participate in technical decisions affecting product modules and/or subsystems, including functional specifications and technical reviews
Be relentless in making our process and product better. We plan time to solve our systemic problems and expect team members to help expose them and find creative solutions.
Identifies opportunities for innovation in areas within department
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar Engineering field with computational focus
2+ years of software engineering experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of common object-oriented design patterns
Participated in interesting side projects such as a mobile app, Raspberry Pi project, etc.
