Key Job Accountabilities: * Supports achievement of plastic consumable quality, delivery and cost improvement targets: * Maintain and monitor tooling asset performance to drive action that ensures OEE and process capability. * Perform failure investigation of fielded product utilizing sound problem solving techniques and statistical methods as needed to identify root cause and countermeasures. * Conduct verification and validation activities as needed to ensure effectiveness of process changes. * Create and monitor project timelines, manage scope changes and establish risk mitigation measures. * Actively provide ideas and initiate projects to support process, product, and organizational improvement initiatives (quality, delivery, & cost impact). * Assist with the design and implementation of new plastic injection, blow molding, and extrusion tooling. * Manage and execute projects and work assignments to meet established schedule commitments. * Travel up to 15% (vendor and other facility visits). * Improve work processes & tools using the Danaher Business System (DBS). * Maintain compliance to applicable internal and external regulations.

R Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline 9 years of relevant experience; (in plastic manufacturing or injection molding) 3 experienced in MS word, Excel and Project. 3 experience in an ISO, or FDA/GMP regulated manufacturing environment. Preferred:

Master’s degree with 7 years’ experience; or Doctoral degree with 4 years’ experience.

5 Experience with injection molded part design, materials, or process development preferred.

Previous experience in the areas of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE) and product/process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Experience with CAD Software (Solid Works or Pro E)
