The Systems Engineer will provide systems design and development support for our current line of Immunoassay instruments as part of our Immunoassay development team. This position will have a focus on investigating, analyzing requirements, assessing risk, testing and making design changes in electro-mechanical system hardware. f you thrive in a problem solving development role and want to join a world-class R&D organization—read on.
In this role, you will have the following opportunities:
Collect appropriate data to identify, analyze, correct and prevent potential system failures
Develop test criteria and test plans and conduct bench and system level testing
Analyze system requirements and relationships with component specifications
Facilitate design FMEAs to drive system design quality
Implement design changes through interactions with Manufacturing, Service, Quality and Regulatory
The essential requirements include:
BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Reliability or Systems Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 1+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience with either Mechanical or Electrical testing
Understanding of key components of requirements generation
Experience performing risk assessments through FMEA, FTA or other relevant method
