The Technician Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for formulating, filling, testing, and packaging chemical and biological reagent products of varied complexity according to operational plans and customer demand.
This position is part of Reagent Operations located in Chaska, MN and will be located onsite. Our work in Reagent Manufacturing delivers both instruments and reagents to customers in hospital and laboratory environments, supporting patient health.
You will be a part of the Reagent Small Vial Value Stream Team and report to the Supervisor of Production Operations who is responsible for operating using Daily Management principles, providing immediate guidance and feedback to our associates, and focusing on daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Conduct testing on solutions which include pH, conductivity, and density, to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of reagent components and instruments
Independently execute work regarding formulating, filling, testing, and packaging
Train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow engineering drawings, work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements
Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements
Train new team members on equipment operations and work procedures as needed
The essential requirements of the job include:
AA Degree
Must have 0-1 years' relevant experience
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and the basic Windows operating system
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g., FDA, ISO )
