Job Description

To support the Pall Industrial business by providing technical inside tele sales support to valued customers across Australia and to proactively generate, identify, and qualify new business and sales opportunities by visiting identified Focus Customers within Victoria and Tasmania.

Internal Sales:

  • Provide Technical Support to customers across Australia

  • Proactively contact business and/or individuals by telephone/email to solicit sales for Pall products and services.

  • Deliver prepared sales talks in order to persuade potential/existing customers to purchase our products and services.

  • Explain products or service, prices and answer questions from customers.

  • Record names, addresses, purchases and reaction from prospects and/or lost customer in CRM.

  • Work with manager to set financial sales targets for focus accounts.

  • Maintain a Pipeline Funnel of Opportunities in Sales Force Dot Com.

External Sales

  • Build impact; Drive filtration solutions in the nominated Accounts.

  • Penetrate the account at all levels.

  • Negotiate pricing adjustments and implement pricing strategies across the nominated territory.

  • Drive Sales of New Products and Applications at Focus Accounts.

  • When required build and deploy New Product and Application Sales Tools, Including Success Stories, Customer Presentations, Installation Lists, value Calculations and Sample Proposals.

  • Provide Technical and Commercial support to customers.

  • Supervise Driven activity at Existing Customer sites.

  • Build and Maintain Customer Account Plan for assigned Accounts Including Sales Potential, Operating Structure, Sites, Contacts, and other Information as required by the business.

  • Handle and/or re-direct all Qualified Leads generated by Pall’s Lead Generation team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent work experience

  • Sales Experience in a similar environment.

  • Proficient in key account management, building relationships vertically and horizontally across customer organization.

  • Filtration and Lubrication fundamental knowledge would be an advantage.

  • Sales and Marketing Strategy/ Sales Action Planning.

  • Familiarity with processes in the Industrial sectors (particularly Mining, Oil & Gas or similar).

  • Willing to travel within the assigned territory (5 days out of 20 to be spent out in the field).
