The Clinical Informatics Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible the overall successful completion of projects from inception to go live

This position is part of the US Informatics team and will be a REMOTE type role with travel and remote work included. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Informatics team and report to the Senior Manager of Informatics responsible for successfully implementing Beckman Coulter middleware solutions. If you thrive in a challenging and evolving role and want to work to build a world-class informatics organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in pre-installation meetings with BCI Sales partners, Automation Project Managers, and Laboratory customers as well as IT, Networking, and internal BCI Teams

  • Execute professional project planning using professional oral and written communication, providing quality implementations with regular and periodic updates to Project Teams and Stakeholders

  • IT/LIS and BCI ensuring streamlined communications and monitoring of project timelines throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Leading BCI resources –both personnel and inventory to maintain schedules

  • Maintain all project related documentation, and present the current project status and task list at meetings

  • Provide project close out and hand over to our Informatics support and post implementation teams

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's Degree with preference for 2+ years of experience with proven track record in managing complex projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, ie. Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc.

  • Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with an emphasis on Informatics Solutions

  • PMP preferred or real-life Informatics project experience

  • Must be willing to travel domestically at least 60% of the time (based on the need of the position)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior Diagnostic Laboratory Management with Project Management Experience

  • Managing Projects using Smartsheet

  • LIS, EMR, Middleware experience

  • Beckman Coulter product exposure

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000 USD Annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
