YOUR ROLE

The Global DBSL provides a unique opportunity to successfully implement the Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies and build and sustain a global kaizen funnel to ensure the business is able to achieve their core business targets, or Core Value Drivers (CVD’s).

The position is global in scope with a heavy focus in NA/EMEA and responsible for process optimization for all functions within the business unit. Reporting into VP, DBS for Esko, you will report on a dotted line into the GM for Esko Brand Solutions.

You will be able to contribute in a meaningful way to …

  • Collaborate closely with Brands leadership team to identify core business processes across all business functions to deepen your understanding of the software company and industry

  • Build Kaizen funnel and facilitate kaizen events while developing sustainment metrics to improve core transactional processes across the business utilizing all applicable DBS tools

  • Lead the creation, expansion, and deployment of continuous improvement processes, best practices and tools. The Commercial team (Sales and Deployment) will be the primary focus of this role, but will also be asked to support other functions in Brands as well.

  • Drive improvement in the priority areas above through monthly PSP (Problem Solving Process) and Kaizen work.

  • Partner with Esko Brand Solution leadership to meet core business objectives, improve functional efficiency, and ensure sustainment of results through use of Daily/Visual Management and other core DBS tools

  • Educate Brands associates globally on current, innovative best practices in DBS. Provide feedback/guidance on how to maximize/optimize programs and results by incorporating these standard methodologies and processes.

  • Assist Brands leadership in the development of a DBS roadmap

  • Develop DBS skills/capabilities in others and build a team of Certified Practitioners (CP’s) throughout the Brands organization

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO CAN:

  • Be hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.

  • Think strategically and view the business from a general management standpoint. Must be very customer focused and have strong interpersonal and communications skills. Will need to be a quick study who can rapidly adapt to Brands culture and gain the confidence of the organization, with high energy.

  • Be an independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations.

YOUR EDUCATION AND/OR BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent; MBA preferred

  • Experience and exposure in sales & marketing and/or commercial positions, including at least two years in outbound (demand generation) or sales leadership

  • Has worked in roles requiring influencing others and developing capabilities in others/teams
