Manager, Field Service (Widefield, Nano)

On a daily basis, you and your team of roughly 13 FSEs, strive to ensure operational excellence across the team to drive improvement in Time to Repair (TTR), On Time Delivery (OTD) of our services and improve our Net Easy Score (NES) key performance indicators (KPIs). You work to consistently grow both orders and revenue for the product line covered (using the Holistic View of Service Growth Equation), including developing and deploying new strategies to increase coverage of the installed base and expand our share-of-wallet. You ensure efficient, effective staffing and management of our Level 1/2 Regional Technical HelpDesk for the product line covered, including driving the Remote Fix KPI.

In addition, you create and foster strong, trustful relationships with your Sales Leadership partners, as it relates to Service Delivery for their market segments / product lines, and manage Operating Expenses (OPEX) of the team to the determined budget. You have responsibility for the entire solution life cycle, from installation to decommissioning, and collect voice of the customer (VOC) throughout that journey, from which you develop programs and processes to improve the future experiences of customers we serve. You always put the customer first and seek to form partnerships with key customers to gather insights and help guide our future strategies. Your mission, and that of your team, is to establish long-term partnerships with our advanced customers that enable insights, drive retention and create clear value that they are willing to pay for.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years technical experience or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating the ability to lead others through projects, partnership or other equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated strength in leadership and people management capabilities: motivating teams, coaching, conflict resolution, negotiation, change management & strategic planning.

  • Effective communicator with ability to effectively build relationships and influence people directly and remotely, across global organizations and departments.

  • Demonstrated ability in developing growth and customer-centric strategies, as well as tactical implementation through daily management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and prioritize service and market needs.

  • Clear thinker with experience in product positioning, market sizing, segmentation and analysis.

  • Experience successfully managing complex initiatives and proven ability to collaborate across the organization and operate effectively within a matrix environment by resolving conflict and influencing others.

  • Proven experience in developing teams to their fullest potential

  • High degree of technical competence, ability to interface with the scientific community and users of all expertise levels

  • Fluent in English.

LOCATION & TRAVEL & REPORTING

  • North America

  • Up to 50% (30-40%) travel

  • Reports to Director of Service, Americas
