What you’ll do!

  • Provide experienced technical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating strong product, value, and application knowledge for Cytiva process-scale chromatography and downstream bioprocessing products.

  • Review bid requests and product inquiries, develop competitive offerings in a timely manner, deliver quotations and bid responses to these requests, and drive the process to closure to meet sales objectives.

  • Deliver pre-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, workshops, and promotional activities.

  • Provide post-sale project support, installation training, and customer application support.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, provide consistent and accurate forecasting of orders and sales utilizing applicable sales tools, and feedback industry and market trends to drive innovative product development.

Who you are!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

  • 3-5 years of Engineering or Scientific experience in a Biotech, Pharma, Engineering, Commercial manufacturing, or Academic lab environment.

  • Passionate for driving customers' success while working both independently and within teams with varied strengths.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience in giving technical discussions, seminars, and product demonstrations desirable.

  • Must live within and be able to travel extensively within assigned geography including occasional national/international travel.

  • To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a Cytiva owned/leased, privately owned/leased, or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical/Biotech Industry and strong, solid understanding of downstream purification, preferably including hands-on experience with chromatography, column packing, AKTA instrumentation, UNICORN software, and associated manufacturing technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of GMP and understanding of validation and working within an FDA regulated environment are preferable.
