The Sr. Procurement Manager, NA will develop and implement strategies for the Strategic Procurement team in North America (located in Loveland, CO & Ames, IA) while leading day to day activities of the associates who make up these teams. Developing metrics and actions to drive improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of these teams and their contribution to key objectives. Drive and maintain an efficient supply base management with the aim of ensuring the appropriate raw materials are available to support production requirements without unnecessary excess, while improving available working capital. Develop, in collaboration with other regions and Danaher (DHR) Corporate Procurement, strategies for the main commodities. The leader of this team will have 7 direct reports and provide development and growth opportunities and support in their achievement of individual goals and objectives.
TYPE OF ROLE: Remote
Provide mentorship and support to the team to improve overall performance and provide growth and development opportunities
Maintain deep commodity knowledge and subject matter expertise to understand macro and micro commodity drivers. Utilize this information when forming effective commodity strategies
Work with the reginal Procurement Leaders, as well as DHR Corporate Commodity Teams, to ensure alignment of strategies across Hach
Supporting initiatives and driving results, measured by responsive supplier performance process and service improvements throughout the supply chain
Handling supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance
Identify any continuous improvements in the Supply Base Management and the Procurement functions to enhance the benefit to the site, whilst working with the relevant team members to achieve this
Develop and oversee all Direct Materials functions to improve efficiency and cost
Through rigorous use of problem-solving techniques, quickly and completely resolve chronic and serious supplier issues
De-risk the Supply Base by reducing single source suppliers and expand dual sourcing
Develop a Procurement culture, building and strengthening relationships across the organization
Ensure compliance with Danaher Corporate procurement and material compliance programs
Ensure compliance with Hach/Danaher polices regarding document preparation and submission, record keeping, auditing, monitoring and compliance screening
Fully utilize DHR Procurement tools where applicable. Example include: iSource auctions, iSource project management, Sourcing Workshops, Supplier Portal, Seaview, etc.

Achievement of KPI’s (Material Cost Productivity, QDCI)
Strengthening of DBS (Danaher Business Systems) Culture

Minimum of 8 years Procurement, preferably in a technical environment
Minimum of 4 years in a leadership position
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related
Fluent English is a must, French, German, Cantonese is a plus
Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
Experienced in Microsoft Office

The hourly rate or salary range for this role is $115,000-$155,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
