The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for utilizing analytical and operational expertise to 1) partner with sales leadership to drive strategic goals, 2) increase understanding of drivers that influence sales performance and 3) ensure timely and quality execution of required operational processes for optimum business planning.

This position is part of the NACO Sales Operations function and will be fully Remote (U.S. based). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Sales Operations team and report to the Sr. Manager Sales Operations responsible for operational reporting, Sales & Service territory alignments, performance analytics and ad-hoc reporting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own and influence the following:

  • Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on business objectives and the action plan to achieve them. Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of critical-path progress and variances from plan. Serve as a liaison between sales, service, marketing, finance, IT, etc.

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate a strategic approach to achieve business objectives by asking strategic questions, aligning resources, developing an action plan, and evaluating action plan results. Ensure processes are simplified and easy to understand and execute. Respond proactively to potential delays in a manner that reduces or eliminates the risk of delay or disruption.

  • Analytics: Maintain subject matter expertise with service and sales data sources and tools and applies this expertise to deliver high quality data and actionable insights to achieve business objectives. Experience with incentive compensation, field reporting, customer segmentation, field force sizing and business planning are strongly desired.

  • Process: Consistently implements all operations protocols, procedures, and standards in a timely manner. Support the execution of all phases of critical projects.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s performance, actively collaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in around solutions. Foster a strong collaborative culture.

  • Leadership: Fosters an environment of candor and support for voicing ideas and overcoming concerns, including advancing own and others’ ideas through influence. Provide strong leadership and project management skills.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sales operations and/or analytics experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR PhD degree with 0+ years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of territory alignment software (Javelin Territory Designer or TerrAlign preferred and reporting and data analytics tools like Excel, SAS, Power BI, Qlikview, Spotfire, Tableau, Business objects

  • MBA or Master’s degree is a plus

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with stakeholders

  • Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
