As a key member of the EU marketing team, you will plan and deliver external and internal marketing communication programs to drive brand awareness, increase share of voice, and generate marketing leads for BioResearch and Biopharma lines of business. The job holder will also work with the global marketing team to develop integrated marketing strategies and capabilities in Europe. This position can be remotely based within the UK with travel to the office for meetings & events.
Working with sales and other internal partners across Europe, the successful person will deliver marketing plans, in line with EU strategy. Coordinate activities with the Global marketing team including sales promotions, events, incentives, content for 3rd party media, co-branded literature, promotional merchandise, product launch packs. Create and maintain the email and social media schedule of engaging content with clear calls-to-action for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn and drive together with the digital marketing team successful paid digital campaigns. Build a strong personal network of marketing and business relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, or other partners to develop opportunities that will benefit the organization. The role requires some travel.
Generate content and collateral for BioResearch, Biopharma lines of business. Ensure product information (BioResearch & Biopharma) are updated on website and support day-to-day planning and execution of marketing campaigns for European lead generation.
Use lead generation tools and analytic, to closely supervise campaign effectiveness for continued improvement and optimization and report on success and review plans at regular team meetings.
Ensure that EU marketing budget is allocated in a cost-effective manner to improve ROI.
Take ownership for own personal development and awareness of the market and competition.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Solid experience in a marketing role.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English; expert knowledge of spelling and grammar.
Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred working knowledge of a marketing automation tool (Pardot, HubSpot, etc.).
Good understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
Life Science industry experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
